Hi, I'm Vanessa.

I am a software developer.

Currently, I research on how to teach models to understand language better at SUTD. Before this, I worked at JP Morgan, where I built products ranging from risk management software to developer tools.

Wrote clean, performant code for business-critical applications ranging from risk management software for the trading desk to developer tools for monitoring cloud-native applications
Worked across a diverse tech stack including Python, ReactJS and Java Spring Boot with software development best practices involving unit testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD (Jenkins)
Partnered closely with various internal stakeholders including the trading desk, operations team and other software engineers
